Jamisen Dowdy is an actor originally from Seattle, Washington, who just finished training at Long Island University-Brooklyn in partnership with The New Group. He graduated in December 2024 with a BFA in Acting, Theatre, Film, and Television.
During his time at LIU-Brooklyn, Jamisen performed as Lloyd in Reckless, Man in Face Value, Agamemnon/ Achilles in Aulis, Danny in Poster Child, Rick in Not 17 Anymore, and Talthybius in Trojan Women.
The ultimate goal for Jamisen is to pursue an on-screen career.
Outside of Acting, Jamisen likes to stay Athletic, having played multiple sports such as Football and Soccer. He is also a huge Seattle Sports fan (Go M’s, Go Hawks)
